Justly Neglected?
Not every neglected book is an undiscovered classic. Many of them have been forgotten for good reason, or at least for having more weaknesses than strengths. One might argue that there's no point in writing about a book that's not worth reading, but I think there's something to be learned from every book, even the weaker ones. And for all their flaws, every book I place in this category has some amount of interest and merit, even if it's not enough to justify reissuing ... or even picking up from the discard pile.
